META: Mutual Education Theater Academy

Instead of the community coming to the theater, Angels spend six weeks or more in residential communities providing Los Angeles youth and adults workshops in playwriting, acting, improvisation, and stagecraft. In exchange we seek to learn from course participants and gain a deeper understanding of our city and its populace. This mutual education leads to the development of talent in participants as well as professional theater productions that reflect Los Angeles.
